Race Pack Collection
The collection of your race packs including your race bib, socks, any purchased merchandise and other goodies will be available at the following times and locations.
The Running Company 1017 Sturt St
- Thursday 15th November 3pm – 5:30pm
- Friday 10am – 5:30pm
Run for a Cause Event Village
- Saturday 12pm – 4pm
- Sunday 6:30am – 8:30am
You will have be provided an eTicket showing your race number via an email in race week. Please ensure you have this with you (either printed or on your phone) to collect your race packs.
Picking up race packs for others is allowed however you must have a copy of their eTicket either printed or on your phone.
For people needing to store their bag, a manned bag drop will be available at the event village, available from 6:30am – 12:00pm.
PLEASE NOTE: No responsibility will be taken for any lost valuables.

7:00 – MC Starts with Welcome Vibes
7:10 – 10km Warm Up on the main stage bought to you by Fernwood.
7:20 – Welcome to Country
7:25 – Race Briefing
7:30 – Steigen 10km Start
7:30 – Community Village Open
8:00 – 10km First Finishers
8:15 – 5km Warm Up on main Stage bought to you by Fernwood
8:25 – Race Briefing
8:30 – Mercure Ballarat 5km Run Starts
8:45 – 5km First Finishers
5km Walk Warm Up
9:00 – North Cares 5km Family Walk Starts
Performances begin on Main Stage
10:15 – Presentations for Steigen 10km and Mercure Ballarat 5km Runs
10:30 – Kids Dash Warm Up
10:45 – Golden Nugget Kids Dash Starts
11:15 – Official Speeches and Kids Dash Presentations
12:00 – Main Stage Performances conclude.
Event Village & Bag Drop Closes
As Victoria park will be closed from 6:30am, the best places to park will be alongside Gillies St.
Enter through Pine Ave via Gillies St and follow the directions of the parking attendants. Please note that as access the course is required to reach the disabled parking area delays may be expected between the following times.
- 7:25am -7:45am
- 8:35am – 8:45am
- 8:55am – 9:15am
There will be a number of portable toilets available at the event village as well as toilets available around the course.
Aid Stations will be available at the 3km and 7km marks and will consist of water only.
First aid services will be provided by St John’s event services. Located near the finish line. There will also be additional first aid on course.
Complimentary massages will be provided to competitors by our partners at ACU.
Food and Drinks
There will be food and drinks available for purchase on the morning with on-site vendors including the North Sports Very Important Runner Lounge, Golden Nugget Bakery and Boost Juice.
Complimentary fruit will be supplied by Woolworths for competitors.
