BE COMFORTABLE

By Julian Spence: 4 time winner of Great Ocean Road Marathon and Co-owner of The Running Company Ballarat

Only 14 days to go until Ballarat Foundation Run for a Cause 2018!

Make sure you have comfortable shoes for Sunday November 18.

Now into week 7 of our 8 week training program, Julian this week explains spoke about the importance of staying comfortable in your run / walk gear.

“Running can be tough enough without the added challenge of being uncomfortable in the gear you’re wearing. As the weather heats up, we sweat more. Technical running garments including running socks are designed to help keep you dry and cool when you start sweating. A few little tweaks to your outfit can help you enjoy your running or walking more by avoiding chafe, blisters, overheating and saturated clothing!”

The Running Company Ballarat host Run Club every Wednesday evening. Run Club meets at 5:45pm for 6:00pm departure. Meeting locations can be found on The Running Co. Ballarat Facebook page.
